ceakay
I have 2 questions. One is: Does the free autotune plugin Gsnap let you input midi to an audio file (so you can choose the specific notes something snaps to)? And if it does, how would I go about setting it up? 1 scook
Just downloaded the 64bit VST from https://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm?pageview=selectos Looks like it supports MIDI input to me. 1
0 scook
Any FX plug-in that supports MIDI input has the option to "Enable MIDI Input" in its VST2/3 drop down in the standard header like this After selecting "Enable MIDI Input", the plug-in will appear in the output drop down in all MIDI tracks. Create a MIDI track set the output to the plug-in.

0 ceakay
I just tried with gsnap and it wont pop up(I don't think it supports midi input, unless I did something wrong). Is there a good free autotune that allows me to use midi input? EDIT: It finally popped up, but it seems like the autotune is still doing it automatically and not locking onto the notes that I assigned it to using the midi Edited March 27, 2021 by seakay beats
0 ceakay
I got that part to work but now the autotune is just automatically snapping notes still and not doing the notes I assigned it to. I did all of the steps, is there something specific I have to do with this plugin?
0 ceakay
Nevermind, I solved it. There is a preset called MIDI Fun where you can assign MIDI. Thank you Scook for helping me set it up!
0 scook
FWIW, in the Correction row on the plug-in UI are two radio buttons, one is "SNAP TO MIDI INPUT"
