Groove Clips From Edited Loops

Hey All

I haven't worked on this yet and I'm not in studio, so please excuse me if this is a no brainer. If it is, a simple reply with "duh" will be sufficient.

I have drum midi grooves that came with a NI drum package.

After I drag a clip onto a midi track, I make some modifications to some of the midi notes in the beats.

Here's the question: After I modify one of these beats, can I turn it into a loop in CbB so I can just slip it to cover the whole measure, etc and contain the modified beat?

Duh, no duh? ?

Yes you can but before you enable groove clip looping, the clip should be an exact multiple of quarter note beats.
