Mildbill
Hello - I wonder if anyone has an Alesis SR18 MIDI instrument definition to share? I have not been able to find one in my searches.
0 57Gregy
Not Instrument Definitions, but there are SR 16 Drum Maps already in Cakewalk. They are probably pretty close to the 18. Try them and see. May need tweaking. But, it's possible that I got the drum maps from one of my other, older installed Cakewalk products.
0 scook
The SR-16 instrument definition is in Alesis.ins in "Cakewalk Content"
0 Mildbill
Thank you for your comments. I have an SR-16, and the INS definition works well. The SR-18 is quite different, with many more drum sets and patterns. It also has the additional layers of percussion and bass to work with. I think for now I will continue to use the SR-18 as a stand alone, as it seems that an SR-18 INS definition has not been created.
0 scook
Here is your opportunity to create one with either the built-in UI or a text editor. Directly editing the master.ins with a text editor may be faster depending on how the information is documented. When directly editing master.ins make a backup (just in case).
