It does need to be reactivated periodically. I think it's every 6 months, but if I'm wrong somebody will correct me no doubt...

So how do I activate it please

The easiest way looks like opening CbB, then going to 'Help' then 'Refresh Activation'.

I just logged into Bandlab Assistant and that did the trick for me.

Happened on my  general use desktop but not my music computer on the same day (Sunday 2/28).  I've never had this happen in almost 3 years on my dedicated music PC.

Could it be because I still have Windows 8.1 on my music PC but 10 on my general use desktop?

Activation must be refreshed periodically regardless of the method used.
