I was going to post this, thinking, maybe I woke up earlier than Larry this morning and will get this one up first. Nope. I was even planning to have a little fun and tribute my post to you. Oh well. There's only one cclarry.

I have this installed but as usual with IK stuff, I cannot find it in sampletank 4.

Found it .. via Sampletank 4 open click on the INSTRUMENT Column on one of the program rows to bring up the library on the left, scroll down to Synthwave Hitmaker

Had the same problem. Run the Authorization Manager. You may also have to re-scan library.

Thanks, Larry.  I don't think I ever would have found out about this.  Very cool.

I'm one of those people who actually buys Synthwave presets from Arturia and others and VIs like ujam's VICE.  So... up my alley for sure.

Is there a way to back up the .zip file? Their new installer doesn't seem to show a download location for it.

Go to your account on the Web and download the zip and store.  That's what I did!

IK Multimedia installation and utilitys is such a complete MESS. Just ONE utility that functions properly for everything would be enough. At the moment is custom shop, IK Product Manager, Authorization Manager

Product Manager is the complete opposite of what its name says. Another mess of a utility.

And then this limited time to download backups of your products before you have to pay for the privilege again.

I only downloaded once...from my account, purely because I know that if I don't store that stupid file,
after 90 days, they want MORE MONEY for it!  NOPE!

Keep in mind you have something like 90 days to do that. After that you get charged to download YOUR products .. again

I figured "It would only make sense for them to leave the zip file you download from their installer or at least ask you if you want to keep it after install". I guess that feature is just asking too much.

The download zip's in your local IK Product Manager folder after install using PM. I just move that file to my archive HDD to keep it.

Product Manager will let you select a custom Download folder in preferences. I could place that path directly on my archive drive, but I find that the download, unzip, and installer steps run faster using my SSD.

Yep...already did that, but I'd rather just do it manually....that way I KNOW that I have the file...

I just think it means you are an old fashion type of person Larry.   Translated - you are an "Old Fart"   Which is okay as I am too!     :D
