Magic Russ
I listened to the demo. Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom! 2
bitflipper
Nobody ever said the name made any sense. Maybe that was the point. How else might one describe a flanger, other than "flanger"? I can't think of any cleverer names. D16's "Antresol" is a pretty good name, even if it does sound like a prescription drug that should be accompanied by a warning about operating machinery while taking Antresol. btw, this is a very nice-sounding effect that everyone absolutely should grab.
Magic Russ
But they explicitly said "Earth Shattering Kaboom" on their website! Good flanger nonetheless. Everyone should download this. And one final thing, the clip is labeled Q 36 Space Modulator, but it always sounded like Marvin was saying Pew 36. Am I the only one who hears it that way?

Larry Shelby
The clip also says "Immodium" which is an Anti-diahrreal, but it's "Illudium" or "Eludium", however you wish to spell it, not "Immodium" Edited February 27, 2021 by cclarry

bitflipper
Glad we got that cleared up. And so far not a single CH-worthy comment connecting "Immodium" with "explosive".

Larry Shelby
I've been watching it since I was about 5...currently 61...it's Q https://looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/Illudium_Q-36_Explosive_Space_Modulator But note...it IS sometimes pronounced "Pu" as in Uranium PU-36...but it's always been Q, not "pu". Larry Shelby
And here is an entire search history, and they all say "Q-36" not "Pu-36" or "Pew-36" https://www.google.com/search?q=Marvin+the+martian+Eludium+Q-36&oq=Marvin+the+martian+Eludium+Q-36&aqs=chrome..69i57.15221j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-

Grem
Anybody knows when and if Vallhalla has sales? Looking at Shimmer and Ubermod. And I don't mind supporting a god company, but that'a a little more than I want to give at the moment.

From https://valhalladsp.com/faq/pricing/do-you-have-black-friday-sales/ Quote Every Day Is Black Friday At Valhalla DSP!™ Seriously, though, the plugins are $50 each, all year long. $50 per plugin is already a pretty low price. So far the prices have never changed.
