CC messages in undefined slots 14 and/or 15

I will look in Cakewalk later if I get chance but from Studio One 5 I can tell you.

Stops are activated by a latching keyswitch so you turn them off with the same key that turned them on. This should be the easiest way. I have yet to delve into articulation maps in Cakewalk but it should be straightforward to create one if one does not exist already

Stops respond to MIDI learn and I was able to assign a controller on CC14 to turn on and off a stop.  Right click on a stop to activate MIDI learn and twiddle the relevant knob to set it up.

Vernon,

I appreciate your effort to explain my conundrum.  My limited knowledge of midi is my hangup.

How do I implement a CC change.  I only have a simple Alesis Q49 controller and an old Yamaha kybrd.   For me at least, the q49 MANUAL isn't of much help to understand implementation, plus only pitch, mod wheel as usable switches
