willard cottrell
Sonokinetic's 'Toccata' organ VST has a great short coming in that there is no way to clear organ stops once they are activated. Is it possible to set an already existing CC via the articulation map, if so which one? Their support suggested a CC message, but I've no idea where to begin. Vernon Barnes
I will look in Cakewalk later if I get chance but from Studio One 5 I can tell you. Stops are activated by a latching keyswitch so you turn them off with the same key that turned them on. This should be the easiest way. I have yet to delve into articulation maps in Cakewalk but it should be straightforward to create one if one does not exist already Stops respond to MIDI learn and I was able to assign a controller on CC14 to turn on and off a stop. Right click on a stop to activate MIDI learn and twiddle the relevant knob to set it up.
willard cottrell
Vernon, I appreciate your effort to explain my conundrum. My limited knowledge of midi is my hangup. How do I implement a CC change. I only have a simple Alesis Q49 controller and an old Yamaha kybrd. For me at least, the q49 MANUAL isn't of much help to understand implementation, plus only pitch, mod wheel as usable switches
