Bruno de Souza Lino Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I installed the free u-he plugins yesterday and the one in the title causes CbB to stop responding and crash with no error or apparent issue showing. You don't even have to load the plugin. Simply having it in your browser and interacting with the browser causes Cakewalk to hang. The other plugins don't have that issue and Triple Cheese works normally in REAPER and Cubase LE 10.5.
John Vere Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 They just didn't test it on Cakewalk which happens a lot. It's not a Cakewalk bug. Its a plug in that needs a little more work.
scook Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I have no idea what u-he uses to test their plug-ins but I have just installed, scanned, loaded, played and removed v1.2.1 rev 3898 VST2 of this plug-in using CbB 2021.01 build 101 on Win10 Pro 20H2 build 19042.804. Successfully running a plug-in in another DAW may be as meaningful as successfully running other plug-ins in the DAW that cannot run the plug-in.

scook Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 a useful bit of information for u-he and Cakewalk support
