Well they did say that the manual would be updated for 11.5. They might have added this feature... Btw @cclarry: can't see the flash sale

And it is a feature, because in both cases, it inspired me to find superior alternatives.

At least Saturation Knob comes as a ProChannel module that never expires. The fun thing with iZotope is free products that need license keys. A support guy literally had to give me a key for Imager 2 because there's no way to register it now that iZotope has that product portal.

abacab
Ubuntu! I used to have a dedicated machine loaded with that, for other computing purposes. But I haven't attempted Linux audio in at least 6 years... so it might be worth another look since Tracktion has done so much DAW development for that platform, including their instruments. I took a look around and you have to disable digital in in the Octacapture and are limited to 44.1 sample rate. Otherwise, the kernel recognizes it. We waited for decades to have the processing power, plugins, and virtual-instruments currently available under Windows.

Once in a while I need to quickly sketch my musical ideas or edit audio. Waveform just makes my life easier. I don't fancy running a full-blown audio production on Linux. Not anymore.
