I've recently reset up my studio gear. Updated to Cakewalk (from Sonar). Updated about 25 plug ins (Toontrack, Real Guitars, Native Instruments)

My plugins (FX, Softsynths) show a garbage list on the right side of Cakewalk. There's old 32 bit programs listed )B4, Guitar Rig 2&3) etc

If I delete something from the list and screw up - is there a way to get it back?

Or - if I set up a new list, do I have control over what heading something will be under?

The custom plug-in layouts are stored on disk in the folder specified in Plug-in Layouts preferences

Make a copy of the folder and/or use different names to save the new layouts.
