tecknot
Hi Bassfaceus, Try Edit | Preferences (with Advanced checked at the bottom) > Customization > Editing > MIDI > Velocity Audition. Kind regards, tecknot

sjoens
It should work if it's connected to a sound source/instrument.
John Vere
Works here, just make sure the smart tool changes to the move tool. looks like a cross. Place cursor in "C" area. This is a picture of a midi blob with all the hot areas for the smart tool. C is move and A is Velocity The greens ends are for dragging the note longer or shorter.
