Transport cursor stops at end of window

I clicked something I wasn't supposed to and hopefully am explaining this well.  But now when I click PLAY the track/transport/cursor/market or whatever it is called moves along the track but stops at the end of the window.  The track keeps playing but there is no longer any movement.

How do I fix this?

Sure... read that already.  The issue I stated is that the marker does indeed move however, it stops at the right side of the window even though the track plays through to the end.

Could it be you have scroll lock activated?

I have the same problem! In previous versions, the cursor moved along with the track, and now it stops at the end, even when the whole song is playing...

Thanks! your answer solved my problem! Best regards. In fact the problem was the actual physical keyboard , toggling the SCROLL LOCK key solved the problem .

That was my problem! Never thought about scroll lock being on since my keyboard doesn't a LED for it or that would have an effect on it! Thank you!!!
