Picked up the Brainworx Friedman BE100 $19 at the bell.  Holy cows, does it sound good.  Their amp sims have gotten better over time but still some silly UX improvements desperately needed like a workable delay (if they still insist on including one) and rebuilding their signal chain browse that currently makes AT4's look like a walk in the park.  At least with the Friedman, you can disable the signal chain in lieu of outside IRs with one click.

Amen. Plus;

Can say exactly the same about the $19 Friedman DS40.  And Audiority Dr.Drive (free) + Audio Assault/Seacow Mr.Shall BX IR pack ($7) are perfect neighbors for this amp.

I'm thinking of getting the Purple Audio MC77, a modern 1176 clone, for $18.99.
It seems like a good deal but I already have the PSP FetPressor which is a similar modernized 1176.
I guess I'll do my homework and demo the MC77.
Anybody have any opinions of MC77 vs FetPressor?
