bayoubill Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) These Chord forms are the most versitile I've used and if you don't know or use them they are priceless I learned these back in the early 70's when Ted Greene put out Chord Chemistry. I wore this book out SEE BELOW Here are the chord forms and I suggest you learn them thoughly not just know them. This will take many months so give it time . Once you can comfortablly finger them learn know how and where to use them. They are drop 2 chords and I can if anyone wants them show the forms on the E B G and D strings I hope you use this info. You won't be sorry Edited December 25, 2020 by bayoubill 1

Gswitz Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I love the Chord! app for my phone. You can enter a set of chords and it gives you scales that work. You can enter a chord and see all the places you can play it. You can do any stringed instrument. You can enter a set of notes and find the scale name (reverse search). I had another phone app that quizzed me notes on the bass and treble clefs. You just answer as fast as you can. Do it about 10 minutes a day and you get pretty fast at reading music. And then there was Syntorial which was a pretty great way to learn synths. https://www.syntorial.com/
Jeremy Oakes Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I’m disappointed. I thought you were going to give us the chord sequence to « All I Want for Christmas » . But i’ll certainly have a look at this as soon as i get out of the cold shower ! j
SteveStrummerUK Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 Pfft..... Rules? There are no rules. That way I get to call the malodorous combination of non-harmonic, non-melodious drivel I play on me geetar 'music'. Or to give it it's proper name, 'jazz' ? 1 1
