user 905133
Quote "This course is for you, if you are tired of always using synth presets, and would like to create your own sounds." This is from the "About this course" web page. IMO if someone has no idea about how to design sounds [aka patches, presets, etc.] but wants to learn, this free course [for however long it is free] might be ideal--he starts with the basics of sound design (waveforms, etc.) and adds to that foundation. He does not presume viewers already understand the basics, but takes the time to explain and demonstrate them. InstrEd
Truth be told over the years I ended up being more of a preset jocky Mostly from being lazy and old age forgetfulness ?

kitekrazy1
I've had some courses that ignore the video production part of their tutorials. This guys overall production is quite polished.
