How Do I Select Synths Inputs And Outputs In Cakewalk By Bandlab?

Greetings everyone. I just baught an Nektar Impact LX 49+ keyboard and I'm trying to play and record vst synths sound with CBB but I'm not hearing anything nor seeing any midi indicator lights. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

Is the Input Echo enabled on the instrument/MIDI track?

The Input Echo button is right of the record button.

Yes I've recorded a 4 bars piano part.

If the pitch bend data is recorded it is up to the soft synth how it deals with the data just like the rest of the MIDI data it receives.

Not all soft synths respond to pitch bend data.

For those that do, not all patches for the synths may use the data or may have it mapped to something other than pitch.

TTS-1 is a good test plug-in. It is a GM synth.
