Astral Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Hey there When I start my computer, BandLab Assistance always loads on startup, and it has update. When I click on Update, it says "Something went wrong. Please, try again", and don\t matter how many times I click- it just stays on the same message. I close and reopen it and oit reopens right back to the same message. How do I fix this? Thank you.
scook Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Grab a fresh copy of BA here (direct download of BA from https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk) 1
Astral Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Thank you for reply. Do I have an error or did everybody had to reinstall? Do I have to uninstall first or will it install over existing? Thank you.
Astral Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Wait a minute! What am I downloading and installing? is it just BandLab Assistant or is it full installation of Cakewalk? Thanks.
scook Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 As a rule, BA must be current in order to update CbB. The solution I provided is for problems updating BA. If the problem is updating CbB, there is no solution other than persistence and possibly a better internet connection.
Astral Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 The link on bandLab site says 45MB- that must be only BlA? Do I need to uninstall first? Thanks.
scook Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 CbB is only available as a download using BA. There is no direct download of CbB. There is no need to uninstall anything. The link I provided above is for the latest version of BA.
Astral Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 That's the same link that on their web site front page, right?
