tdehan Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I am trying to send a MIDI track to my Yamaha SY77 keyboard. The MIDI track was created on my SY77 years ago, transfered to my Kawai Q80x, saved and now opened in Cakewalk. I don't see the patch change/instrument patch number information in the Events view of the MIDI track. Where is this information kept so I can view it?
rsinger Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Look in the MIDI track inspector. Above the fader is channel, bank, and patch.
John Vere Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Patch and bank changes are not on the event list ( bummer) they are as said in the track inspector boxes.
scook Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Try adding GeneralMidiSMFs=0 to the Options section in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\TTSSEQ.ini to see the data in the Event List view.
