DeeringAmps Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 So I took a listen to a few over at SoundCloud, I’m assuming you’re the guitar player. Beautiful touch and tone. But (man I hope I’m not sticking my foot in something here) we need a little more structure. If soundtrack is what you’re aiming at, you’re close. On this tune the 6 sec lag before the track starts, the ending; I hope you get my meaning. I realize this is a work in progress, but I think a bit more development will attract a lot more attention. As I said, nice touch and tone... tom 1
telecode 101 Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 thanks. seems perfectly valid and reasonable to me. still a work in progress. yeah. i am the guitarist on it. ? 1
Douglas Kirby Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I liked the tone of that lead guitar on this one - I only wished it were a bit longer, but I know you mentioned it's a work in progress.
Lynn Wilson Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I like where this is going. There's great potential here, and I look forward to hearing this when you get it to the point where you think it's completed. Truly terrific tones and textures!
PhonoBrainer Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Subby without being overly muddy, so that's a neat mixing trick right there! you've got a lot of bass components overall, it's definitely tilted in that direction, and I guess that makes the occasional twinkly bits stand out. Guitar is nice! If you are going for dark and brooding, you are there. My first thought was soundtrack, it has that kind of underscore tension. cheers, -Tom 1
Wookiee Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 This appears to have potential I look forward to its development.
