Hidden Symmetry
Enjoyed this, has that early fusion feel & vibe, reminded me of RTF.
KSband
RTF, in my dreams. Obsessed on them as a teen, of course Weather Report, Crusaders, Tom Scott and the LA Express, Ritenour, Lorber- so much good fusion at that time. Lately been diggin on Simon Phillips Protocol, so fusion is still breathing. Thanks for the encouragement.
David Sprouse
I had similar obsessions when I was a teen. Imaginative song here. I have cheap eris 3.5s and everything sounded great. :D:D

mark skinner
Nice , I thought the electric pianos' were perfect. That was Very relaxed and Smooth , especially for a funk type vibe. Although I thought it could have been a little hotter , I loved the drum track. Great Performance on a Great song ... mark
KSband
Thanks. Hotter? You mean the solo or the melody? This started as a guitar song, and morphed to keyboard sounds after playing around using the fishman midi guitar system. It was one of those tunes that I almost gave up on but just kept playing with it.
Paul Bush
Yeah , makes me want to go down the basement and pull out some albums , what drums did you use ? super groove
KSband
It's Jamstix. It's kind of a cool program in the way it adapts to changes you make in the song, supposed to mimic a real drummer with it's "brain". Tons of parameters to tweak to change the feel if so inclined. mark skinner
Kurt , when I said "hotter" I was referring to the drum tracks alone. I thought the kick could have been thicker and the snare hitting Harder giving the song a little more funk Punch. But , I'm sure going to check out Jamstix . mark
