Make and model would be great! Are you trying to edit audio or MIDI? I'm assuming audio, since plugins are another name for vst's and not vsti's Do you hear the audio from the track without the plugin? When you insert the plugin, what happens? Do you hear anything? Have they worked before and now they stopped working? Do you have Global effect bypass enabled? Do you have the effect chain bypassed?

Maestro
He's saying that Cakewalk is only loading 93 of his 420 plugins. I hope that is a misunderstanding. 420 plugins, really?
scook
verify all the plug-ins are in the paths setup in VST Scan Paths in preferences below the VST Scan path section make sure the "Rescan Failed Plug-ins" and "Rescan All Plug-ins" options are NOT selected below the VST Scan path section make sure "Scan In Sandbox" and "Generate Scan Log" ARE selected below that click the Reset button Make sure the plug-in layout is set to one of the "Sort by" options When using "Sort by Category" make sure to check the Uncategorized folder. The plug-in layout is selected at the top of the plug-in menus and in the Plug-ins tab in the browser ("B" in the image below) If the plug-ins are still missing. Review the scan log for clues. Provide details about the missing plug-ins (plug-in names and where the dlls are installed) Provide an image of the VST Preference page linked above Provide a link to the scan log

Really! clear the smoke out and get some Cheetos, Prob have the munchies. I cannot see any situation that would need 420 plugins.
