Renaming a (midi) track from Piano Roll View

Just as the title says. You can rename any type of track from the Console View by double clicking on the name field. Is should be the same for midi tracks when working in PRV.

It's funny cause I just tried to do this and couldn't and was like... that's silly.

+1 I agree.  The inability to label midi tracks while in the Piano Roll View is an irritant.

Whoa, I had no idea, I never tried it, I just assumed it would work. So yes, I agree, there in the Track Pane, let us rename tracks.

Of course, please also extend it to the Track Pane in Staff View as well.

You've got a great idea here.  Please start a separate thread so your idea can receive the visibility it deserves.
