Muzician
Is there a way to do it other than using a volume envelope? Can you apply compression or volume changes to a small section? Also, does Cakewalk BBL support VST plugins? Thanks!

scook
Or use the clip gain envelope Or add a gain plug-in to the track or clip FX bin. Both Channel Tools and an empty FX Chain may be used to boost volume. There are free plug-ins for this too such as the gain suite in Blue Cat's Freeware Plug-ins Pack II
