Bapu Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Cool. Almost every Beatles fan has "their" Beatle. John is mine. Always was and always will be. Followed by George. Even though Macca and Ringo are the only Beatles I ever saw live. *Same old story footnote: My sister who did not like the Beatles (then) got to see them in '65/'66 in Chicago with our cousin. I was angry with her for years for not letting me go. I think maybe it was about five years ago I finally forgave her. And then shortly there after that she voted for......nevermind.
Old Joad Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 John brought the rock & roll, but i have to say Ringo still looks good..
Bapu Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 (edited) We must always remember that Ringo was more popular than The Beatles when he joined The Beatles. In other words he was taking a "step down" to join them. Kinda worked out ok, huh? Edited September 25, 2020 by Bapu
Old Joad Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 True, yeah I forgot about Pete Best. I've seen the all-stars a few time great band...
Bapu Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 (edited) I saw Ringo's ALL STARS with Jack Bruce (hella yes!) & Eric Carmen (meh) & Simon Kirk on drums (oh yeahhhhhh) & Dave Edmonds on guitar. Edited September 25, 2020 by Bapu
