He tried, but he could Not (sad fam) #23

Well, I tried, I made it to 23

Here are some stats prior to this last effort.

1. 23 songs in 28 days

2. Nearly 900 cakewalk song forum views

3. 78 Soundclick steams.  That comes  out to 3.3 streams per song.  Not bad for a guy like me!

4. I have deleted most of the songs from soundclick page and kept the ones that had some listens.

Thanks All!

I dont know what is about your music.
It just makes me smile now...  (a few years ago it was pulling my hair out)
If anyone can do a song a day for a month... its definitely you mate.

Well done... looking forward to them all...  only 28 to go!!!  ?

I agree with Gary above.  Your music does indeed make me smile.  I was captured by the BGV (and sounds) that were faded in the background.  Cool stuff Jesse!!!

Something in the Water   +1!!! Dig the groove.

Good luck on your project. I'm on a song every six months for the duration!

cheers,

-Tom

This is going to be more difficult than I presumed.

I've been running hard Jesse in order to keep up with your productivity.   Quirky, creative and most definitely cool with interesting observations in each.  I was knocked out by Something in the Water --- kind of a soulful, funky, Bluesy sound.  Luv that guitar panned hard left.

freddy,  keep running baby

I'm running too........actually.....no, I'm not running, I'm going to stand and fight.

I'm tired of running, I know I am out of context, and you are a fighter too

I guess what I mean is, get to it when you can, you know me already

As always Jesse your music is an experience  that needs to be experienced.  No one could ever say you do not communicate with it.

Some interesting stuff over your seven day marathon to which I have been listening to this early morning over here in the UK.

As ever you do put your whole being in to it all thanks for sharing.

I liked "Where Are You Tonight" - it has a cool groove and bass line. Would describing the song as avant garde be appropriate? I think so - well done.

Good luck on doing a song a day - quite a challenge.

Sometimes you're scary Jesse. Zappa reveled, I think, in the notion; No Commercial Potential.
There's a couple of tunes in here that with "traditional" production are jewels.
(They are Jewels, but could be commercially viable)

Keep it up, as always a big Fan, lots of goodies here........
