external insert has bugs!!!

So, you can't solo any bus if you're using an external insert...ridiculous FIX IT!!!

Now noticing midi notes playing only 60% of the notes when external insert is enabled. WTF??

Cakewalk, fix the bugs associated with external insert. We don't need anymore crappy content, just fix the basics of the program. So many issues have never been addressed in years and years.  Seriously guys...

Posting a series of reproducible steps to the Problem Reporter will be more likely to yield a fix in a future release.

The midi notes thing is almost certainly that ms buffer setting in the config file you get to through properties. Double whatever it is. There are many threads on this. Scook might be among in a minute to be more precise.
