Incompatibility issue of audio imported

Cakewalk keeps displaying error and incompatibility messages when I try importing mp3 files into a project. anyone else facing this same issue? I never had this problem prior to now. I've only just switched systems when this issue arose.

If the files are copy protected, they cannot be imported.

If the files are on a device that cannot be written to, the import will fail.

Try copying the file(s) into the Cakewalk audio folder or some other area where Cakewalk has write permission.
