Yiz
Is there a way to automate audio pitch, I can change the pitch but it does not seem automatable. Any help? If I need a VST to do this I'd like it if it was free. Thanks in advance
0 reginaldStjohn
The only way I know to "automate" the pitch of an audio file would be with something like Melodyne.
0 rsinger
That's what pitch shifters do. If your signal is monophonic there may be a free one. Maybe one in CbB? If it's polyphonic you'll need something like Zynaptiq's Pitchmap. I don't know if you can automate it. 0 scook
That is an interesting one, it uses MIDI to manipulate pitch. I have not been keeping up with this stuff, it appears zPlane has a product similar to Pitchmap called reTune. I have not played with it. Depends on the effect one is trying to achieve. The pitch parameter in zPlane's Elastique Pitch 2 may be automated with an envelope or MIDI but it is not free either. MAutopitch is part of the MFreeFXBundle. MIDI may be used to automate pitch change.
