Not enough memory available for this task. Cheap MIDI Device Failure...

I have a cheap and tiny keyboard to use with Cakewalk. It is AKAI LPK25.

In Edit > Prefrences when LPK25 is checked, this is the error message, after clicking Apply.

 

Reported by Windows, there is not enough memory to complete this task. Quit one or more applications, and try again.

 

Computer setup is a modern VR Gaming computer.

With only the browser open.

So I am surprised.

 

What can I try to get LPK25 working? 

Or any other insights on this?

Yes saw that. No it didn't work. It does NOT appear to be too many apps open. Any other insights, tips? Thanks..
