Clip Processing: Gain and Fade Envelopes?

In Sonar there used to be an easy way to apply a Gain or Fade envelope. I can't figure out how to do this in the updated Cakewalk software. It looks like loop automation provides this but I can't figure out how to apply that just to a single clip as opposed to the entire track? 

I'm probably just missing the right steps, but I've looked everywhere I can think of...

What am I missing?

In the track view, click on the dropdown for the track in question that says "Clips" by default, and choose "Clip Automation" | "Gain"

Thank you. Totally missed that you have to enable track wide first, before changing individual clips.

Works perfectly of course...
