bassface Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Hi Again..Lets say i have my synth on track 1 and my midi on track 2 and i want to freeze the synth BUT on another track, say track 3 (or any other track i nominate).. How do i do that?
scook Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Select the audio and MIDI tracks and Bounce to Track(s) Then archive the original audio and MIDI tracks. 1
paulo Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 If I feel the need to do that I usually just freeze the synth then copy/drag the audio into the track pane and it creates the new audio track automagically, then mute/hide the synth track. Always seemed to be a quicker process than bouncing tracks to me.. Mostly though I don't bother and just treat the frozen synth track as my audio track.

The only time I'll copy the track, is if I want a distinct separation between my "sound design" effects and my mixing effects. In this case, I'll freeze the original track, copy the audio to a new one, then archive the original.
