First Guitar I Heard In Person

In 19 and 59 my dad's friend brought over his new guitar. They raved about how good he was and wanted me to hear him play . When he got there he set it up.

When I thought of it last night I looked on youtube and found it. Raunchy. It made me think of my first girlfriend. 

then of the Coffee House and how it needed a theme song. Raunchy?

For the CH? This fits much better for the CH

I saw the movie Woodstock when I was about 11 years old. After I saw Hendrix, it really inspired me to switch from piano to guitar.

Though I am not a huge Hendrix fan (im more in to Aerosmith, The Cars, Alice in chains) I do love my 05 Strat and its all I play because its the one guitar ive been able to set up perfectly. Sometimes its not always how great the guitar is but how well she can be tuned up.

I have several loaded pickgaurds that quick connect for the jacks, but most of the time I use 1 Humbucker in the bridge (my 1982 Seymour Duncan 59)

I'm really thinking about switching my bridge pickup on the Strat. Seymour Duncan 59 was one of the pickups I was looking at.  So many choices it's hard to make a decision

As a piano/keyboard player I am a little jealous of all the colorful choices guitar players have. How do you choose a guitar or does the guitar choose you?

I’ve been “seduced” more than once, so yeah, maybe the guitar does choose you.

I think it's a sound you hear that calls you.  Strats did that to me. I feel in love with that sound. Teles have a sound I've always wanted but never got around to owning till a few years ago. I've played so many kinds and makes of guitars but I always come back to my Strat. Gibsons always seem to be missing something to me. 

I did loved my 335 

and Ibanez GB10 .  

Both were golden and sounded great and I used them a lot on gigs but at home I had my Strat
