Marke Burgstahler
When I try to drag Drum Replacer into the FX bin of a MIDI drum track, I get this crash. Any ideas?
scook
Drum Replacer is not a regular VST3 plug-in. It is intended to be used as a Region FX only. It is excluded by default in the Plug-in Manager so it does not show up in the plug-in lists.

I just discovered this, and I couldn't log back in fast enough to delete my noob post...lol
chris.r
Reading this thread I had a question coming instantly to my mind. Is there no way to prevent the DAW from crashing by implementing any sort of defense code that will block any wrong behavior fed back from a plugin? A dialog window saying something like "this operation is not allowed" would be better than a crash. But as I'm not a programmer I know that only people who do write software code could answer it.
