slw666
Hey there! I am a long time Sonar user and have recently reinstalled Cakewalk and love it as much as I used to. I am in a dilemma, I will need to upgrade my Mac or get a PC soon as I have started writing a lot on Fiverr for people. The one feature I absolutely require is retrospective Midi record for me to switch over. Is this likely on the cards does anyone know? For those who don't know, on Cubase, Logic and Ableton, I play along with my compositions and then just hit one button and, even without pressing record, I can get what I just played back when working in a looped scenario. I have no idea how hard this is to implement but it's been a feature in Cubase since the late 90's and in Logic since version 8. If anyone has any knowledge on this then I would be grateful if you could let me know. Thank you! 2
Josh Wolfer
Whilst I like the idea, can you not just loop record when you're just playing around and then stop it and keep the last play before you stopped? The difference mainly seems to be whether or not you hit R or Space before you started working on the tunes.
