0 Chaps
Open your Plug-in Manager and click Options. This gives you the list of the directories Cakewalk is scanning for plug-ins. Look in each directory to see if there are Sound Forge .dll files in them. Also, if you can see the Sound Forge .dll files in you plugin manager you can exclude them. 0 scook
AFAIK, the SoundFoge plug-ins are DX format. Cakewalk reads DX plug-in names from the registry regardless of which program registered them. Use the plug-in manager to prevent plug-ins from showing up in the browser and menus Cakewalk. To hide the Sound Forge plug-ins open the plug-in manager and follow these steps: click on the DirectX Audio Effects (DX) in Plug-in Categories column click on a plug-in to hide in the Registered Plug-ins column click the Exclude Plug-in button

I had been meaning to do this with "ExpressFX" [Sound Forge] plug-ins, but just generally kept the folder closed and ignored them. Out of curiosity, other than saving me a line in the Browser (which I ignored), does excluding them have any other benefit?
0 scook
The action simply causes the program to exclude the plug-ins from the plug-in lists. The plug-ins still exists and will show up in projects that reference them.
