But the good news is that if you completely replace your previous hard drive, you now have a hard drive (i.e. your old one) that you can use to back up your sound files

I wouldn't put backups on SSD.

HDD is best for that purpose. And cheaper.

So how about this one: If I buy my qualifying item from a third party dealer (which seems to be allowed) at a lower price than available on the IK website, what is the greatest value of any bonus item I can select from the IK website? The value I paid the third party, the value IK would have charged for the qualifying product...or some other number?

Yup! If IK had it listed as $199, that's what you get credit for in the group buy, regardless of what you actually paid for it at a 3rd party distributor.

Yes you can. I did that last year. Found a great sale on Fender 2, bought that and got the full value for it in the GB!!!

 

[edit for clarity!] I didn't find the great sale on Fender 2, Can anyone guess who did?!!
