I'm trying to record my digital piano through Cakewalk using the ASIO4ALL driver. When I select the ASIO driver (under Edit-Preferences-Audio-Playback and Recording-Driver Mode), unfortunately my recording is silent. However, if I choose the WASAPI driver (instead of ASIO), the sound comes through fine. I have noticed that when I choose the WASAPI option, my digital piano shows up fine under Devices as "Line In (Realtek High Definition Audio)". However, when I choose the ASIO option, the digital piano does not show up under Devices (only "ASIO4ALL v2 HD Audio Stereo input 1" appears).
So, my question is this: is there any way I can select the ASIO driver and still manage to get "Line In (Realtek High Definition Audio)" to appear under Devices? If I can get my Line in to appear I know this will solve the sound problem.
