LOPSON Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Is there a way to add Sonitus EQ effects to only certain parts of the audio?
John Bradley Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Alternatively, you can stick an EQ on the track, and automate the bypass/enable to bring it in and out as you see fit. That said, the Sonitus EQ doesn't expose 'Bypass' as an automatable parameter. The ProChannel EQ does, as will nearly any other EQ you'd care to use.

Currently Sonitus is the only thing that shows up for me. Do I have to download ProChannel somewhere else or am i just looking in the wrong places?
LOPSON Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 Just figured it out thanks for your guys's help
John Bradley Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 If you have a limited set of plugins available, here's the obligatory plug for the MeldaProduction FreeFX Bundle. Good versions of most effects you might need, and y'know... free. https://www.meldaproduction.com/MFreeFXBundle There's also the Free VST Effects thread somewhere on this forum. Lots of goodies to play with in there. 1
Asif Ali Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 @LOPSON How did you fix this, i cannot see the sonitus eq to remove it?
Byron Dickens Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Two-year-old dead thread about a plugin that, if not dead itself, is at least mortally wounded
John Vere Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 The pro channel EQ is amazing and built in to every track strip. There’s dozens of very good EQ’s for free. Cakewalk requires a bit of learning . Watch these for start. There’s lots of information to absorb and once you get the basic stuff down questions like this will not be at all needed or asked
lapasoa Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 You can cut and paste the clips in a new track and add Sonitus EQ
John Vere Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 The trouble I found with applying a effect with process is a mono clip becomes stereo even if the effect has a mono setting. It will still sound the same but it annoying
