It's a knockoff. The pictures of the product do not even have the Akai logo. And the thumbstick looks quite different from the real deal. You can be sure the included software is going to be pirated too.

No mention of Akai so i'm not sure they can be sued.

The only difference I can tell from looking at the actual AKAI that I haven in front of me is the leftmost four buttons (below the joystick). Mine has only three. So you should totally buy it!
