DocBob
I have 2 takes - one with a chord progression and one with a melody. I'd like to edit the melody separately. Going to the piano roll view shows both takes no matter how I open it. I can edit in-line but it is clumsy. I can't find a way to change a clip's color IN THE PIANO ROLL VIEW though I can in track view. I can' t selectively color notes like I could in Reaper. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance - a ways good helpful ideas in this forum!
scook
The PRV does not recognize take lanes. To show one take lane, temporarily mute the clips in the other take lanes and enable "Hide Muted Clips" in the PRV view menu.
tonemangler
An alternative is to duplicate the track with events ticked and then delete the appropriate take lanes. You can now work on both takes on separate tracks. After editing, if you want to revert to both takes on the same track, insert a take lane on one track and then Shift move the the midi clip (clips) from the other track.
