My foolish attempt at a disco song will at least give you something to smile about on this wonderful day in history that Will Smith freed us from martian tyranny.

Any comments or critiques on everybody loves to dance would be greatly appreciated.

Vocals are good but the drums are so top end on my system they sort of get in the way a bit

Feels like way too much compression on the drums and maybe too much verb on the vocals.

 

Nice arrangement and writing though. Catchy chorus.

I like the upbeat feel of the song and the positive lyrics. Much needed nowadays.
A couple of nits. There's a bit too much reverb on the voc and I think disco needs more thumping bass drum.

This is a nice tune . To me the vox reverb is a subjective thing. The reverb gives it a more retro feel or vibe IMHO than a drier reverb would. For disco this is a little tame to my ears. Very nice work!

Now revised with less compression on drums + reverb on vocal as I was a little heavy-handed with the salt ?

Groovy!  Great job on the vocals ..  I believe you captured the groove of pre disco.    I would try and speed it up 1 or 2 bpm , a little can go a long way ..   ms

I like this song, and it has great potential.  I think if you punch up the kick drum, it will be closer to what you may be going for.  You could also add some percussion that's in cut time to make it seem faster.  However it goes, congratulations on stretching your writing abilities and going for something different!

Are you two really brothers?  I liked this  it was laid back dance music.  Not frenetic per the usual dance stuff.

No we are not really brothers the name 'the Galtieri Brothers' is just a stage name and sounds exotic and controversial when you come from Birmingham UK. We wanted to shock with our name and awe with our songs but mostly our efforts seem to block and bore ? By the way it's just me now as my 'brother' has gone on to better things.
