Reinstalling from Sonar 8.0 To CWbB

Hi forum,

I built a new computer and nor face the daunting task of reinstalling everything Cakewalk.

i have determines I will need to install 8.5 and all of the packages since. All are SPLAT.

My question at this point concerns Sonar 8.0 vs 8.5. I am trying to determine if I need to install 8.0 at all.  Looking at comparisons I see 8.5 has some updated items, such as Studio Instruments I believe. I don’t have any Projects started before 8.5 but I’m not sure if there is anything in 8.0 and not 8.5 that I may have used.

What is in 8.0 and not carried over or upgraded in 8.5?
 

Any other consideration?

No need to perform a full install of 8 or 8.5. Just add the bits missing from newer versions.
