Offline Help file - how to update ?

Currently  my offline help file is referenced at build # 23.10.0  ( which is from the last paid  version  - I think. )Is there a way to get the current  build # 26.5.0 to update for the  ( in program )  or offline help file?   I have the latest reference guide , and both of Craigs excellent tips.

The local help file option was removed from CbB preferences with the first release. AFAIK, the code to open a SONAR.chm is still in the program.

BandLab does not make a chm file for CbB.

The help is available on the web and a pdf snapshot is made every few months.

Thanks Scook  - what I notice is when clicking on a help tab within the program-  such as a tab  in  a preferences set-up page for example, it's directed to open the old  chm.  Is this a hold over from my Sonar Pro migration ?

Yes

If the old SONAR.chm is in the CbB program folder

and

the PC is not connected to the internet or UseOnlyOfflineHelp is set to 1 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Core

 

To prevent CbB from using the old SONAR.chm remove it from the CbB program folder

and

remove UseOnlyOfflineHelp from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Core or set it 0.

 

SONAR.chm is not part of CbB.
