RSMcGuitar Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 I was wondering how they planned to make money. Not a complaint at all, just didn't get it. 1
scook Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 BandLab Technologies has several commercial ventures. Click the product logos near the bottom of this page for info about them. 1
Brian Walton Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 USB C, more forward thinking than many of the other options on the market. 2
ensconced Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Regarding these I think azslow3 put it best on the old forums Quote I do not know why they call it an "audio interface", technically it is a small portable pre-amp which allows connecting guitar/mic to the mic input of build-in audio interface of phone/tablet/notebook. http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3776855 But I guess they do 'interface' between devices, but considering what most people consider as an 'Audio Interface' these fall somewhat short. I doubt anyone is going swap their RME, Motu, Focusrite, etc for 1 of these. But they do seem to fit inline with the group BandLab are targeting with the online BandLab stuff.
Jim Fogle Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 I'm glad to see an online distributor is listing them for sale in the US. The BandLab Store has listed them for awhile but the store has a minimum of $149 US before the cost of shipping is free. It bothers me that the Link Digital and Link Digital Duo output is fixed at 16/48k.
