0 Nigel Mackay Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 Got to Edit -> Preferences-> Audio -> Playback and Recording. If Driver Mode is WASAPI Exclusive it means Cakewalk reserves the PCs audio system for itself. Change it to WASPI Shared. 1
0 scook Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 When using the same audio device for Cakewalk and Windows make sure both are set to the same sample rate and do not use WASAPI Exclusive driver mode if you want to share the device when Cakewalk is running. 1
