Honest question - Fabfilter is really on the high end of plugins.  Are they really that much better?

If I had to pick a Developer that was "above the fray" it would be Fabfilter...I don't think you'll find
a Pro who doesn't praise them....and THAT is indeed a RARE thing!

Honest answer - probably not. Yes, they are truly excellent. Top shelf.

But is a $200 limiter 4x better than a $50 limiter? The law of diminishing returns says no.

OTOH, there's Pro-R, which has no equal IMO.
