COVID Situation

Love the bass line throughout. Great build up to the Welcome bit.
Skillful production made the tune sound truly epic.
Horns kind of surprised me - not sure if a good or bad thing but totally subjective.

Killer delay on that lead vocal in the intro!

The whole thing is a bit depressing, isn't it! Your musical treatment is very listenable and very solidly produced. Honestly, though, I'm just not in the mood for musical explorations of this! I'm sure others are, and hopefully you get some good charity rolling from it. No faulting your song, it's well done for sure.

Has a slight Chris Rea feel, I thought - dark indeed but I kind of liked it. Have to agree about the production: top drawer and you really nailed the vocal with the delay effect.

I can empathise with that, it's all very much in our faces, but I liked the idea of doing a rock song on the the subject to counter the commercial offering like the James Blunt song and the Times Like These cover.

Funny you should say that because, on the "oh yeah" near the end, I had "Road to Hell" in mind. Maybe they should re-issue that
