How do I download Cakewalk?

Hi all,

Downloaded and installed Bandlab Assistant.

But when I log in I can´t find the "App tab" with the install button for downloading Cakewalk

It looks different from the pics of the guide

What gives?

Without seeing an image of your BandLab Assistant looks like I'd be hard pressed to say what gives.

Post a screen shot of it.

Are you running BandLab Assistant on a Mac ? Cakewalk is for 64-bit Windows only.

No no...it´s on Windows of course

Thought I'd check - the apps tab definitely doesn't appear on the Mac version

Well, that was embarrasing...

I had already downloaded and installed the Assistant, but for some reason it seems that it didn´t want to open it when I clicked the shortcut for it.  Only noticed when I closed the webiste. So I had to restart the computer and voila, the assistant launched.

That´s why I thought the website was the "assistant" at first

So today´s lesson for me...don´t start messing with stuff like this in the middle of the night..."I will just do this and then go to bed"....Yeah right

Actually is the best time. You will have the solution when you wake up. Better than a morning problem that nags at you all day ?

That screen is where you select what you want in addition to the main Cakewalk program.

Melodyne is a trial version and Theme Editor is something that most users probably don't need, but the Studio Instruments and Drum Replacer are both quite useful.

Included in CbB is a special time limited trial version of Melodyne. Once expired the basic mono audio to MIDI and tempo map features continue to work. The expired version lacks the edit screen.
