Øyvind Skald
Just want to ad that I have gotten the Corsair Hydro Series™ H100i RGB PLATINUM and I have clocked the CPU to 5 GHz without any problem. It is not spinning up with a stress test. I might go higher, but I think I stay here at the “safe” side. Intel has put 5 GHz as a “you shall be able to clock this safely. Guaranty”. So, it was the Cooler Master cooler that was not doing his job, even tho It had great fans from Corsair. In AIO water coolers, the pump has a lot to do with performance.

Jim Roseberry
If you were going socket-2066 with high-end i9 CPU, you'd need large-radiator water-cooling.

Noted, Jim, thanks. I'll be okay I think. Going for a Socket 1151 i9 CPU with a Noctua NH-U14S cooler. And I'm going for a full tower case now in the hope that it will aid with cooling... Could fit more 140mm fans if need be. cheers andy
